Smol Victories

I'm starting 2025 looking for positive things to do in what feels like a world on a path to bitterness, division, and hatred. I know grand hopes can fail easily, so I embraced my love of SMOL and took some small steps:

• I setup Nginx on the Raspberry Pi to serve some HTTP pages
• I performed an account security audit, cancelling the rubbish, and updating passwords where needed
• As part of the audit I also moved more critical or personal accounts out from GMAIL to a private, GDPR protected, encrypted service
• I also set myself a 14 day timeline to leave all Meta products. Halfway through and things are going well
• Created a bingo card of 25 things I'd like to learn about or do by the end of the year. Much more practical than New Year's resolutions and by making them specific tasks I've a good chance of doing most of them.

Not much, but it has left me feeling a bit more positive.
